DIY Simple Floral Centerpiece
See how I used thrift store vases and just one type of flower to make the prettiest simple floral centerpiece perfect for Fall!
If you remember last Friday I shared the first of four easy flower arrangement ideas with this farmhouse flower arrangement in a vintage milk can! Well, I’m back today to share this second flower arrangement a simple floral centerpiece!

If you thought last week was too difficult for you it doesn’t get much easier than this 😉
week 1 | week 2 (you’re here) | week 3 | week 4
Here’s last week’s vintage milk can farmhouse flower arrangement:
I can’t even believe I’m saying this, BUT, Fall is just around the corner. Ugh. I can’t say I’m excited (which I normally am!).
I feel like I really haven’t enjoyed this summer at all. Between having a new baby and also a child who really embodies the “terrible twos” I’ve been riding the struggle bus! Hoping to get back to normal soon :/ #sendhelp
But, I can’t stop the clock from turning and Fall is almost here whether I like it or not. We have even been having some cooler mornings which I can say are really enjoyable!
In my quest for simple flower arrangements, I wanted to provide y’all with something SO easy but that was still beautiful.
When I stumbled upon deep burgundy peonies from Afloral, I knew they would be perfect!

On a recent thrift store run, I found the prettiest white milk glass vases, AND they were $3 a piece! Score!
Step 1. Lay out your Table Runner
The first step to a simple floral centerpiece is always a table runner. A beautiful flower arrangement looks even better when you set up a nice space. Here I used a white tablecloth underneath our table runner.
Step 2. Place your Flowers in the Vases
All I did here was take the tags off of the flowers and place them in the vase. It does not get any easier than that!!
The deep burgundy color (which is gorgeous) contrasts so beautifully with the white vases. I added in some gold with the tray and these candle holders because gold is such a Fall color!
Like I mentioned in the last post, I can’t get over how real these flowers look! I mean just look at the details in the petals!
Step 3. Arrange Vases on Gold Plate Centerpiece
I really love the extra touch the gold dish adds here. It just makes those whites and burgundy colors really pop against the gold. Really this pushes the simple floral centerpiece over the top for me and OMG that look!
This DIY was a lot of fun for me and so amazing to be able to take a moment and put something together with some thrift store vases flowers from floral and a gold tray! Everyone can take the time to put this together!
Are you looking forward to fall? Â Or are you still holding on to summer as long as you can?
